From dusty oil rig sites, to the depths of a coal mine pit, and board rooms of North Dakota’s state Capitol, I’ve covered the major aspects of a booming energy industry.
From following a news tip to presenting a story on air, I involve myself in every step of the process that it takes to produce a news story. On a typical day I write and edit packages, VOs and VO/SOTs, and complete live shots, before anchoring our nightly 10 pm news cast.

Other internship duties included compiling information regarding the Boston Marathon bombings, sending out email news alerts, monitoring news sites both local and national for content.
